About the referral scheme
With FluCamp’s referral scheme, you could be eligible to receive £250 for referring someone who takes part in one of our clinical trials.
how does the referral scheme work?
To be eligible for our referral scheme, you must have successfully completed a first screening at either our Manchester or London screening clinic. A month after completing your first screening, you will receive an email with your unique referral code, which the referrer must provide at the point of sign-up. The referrer must then complete a clinical trial in full and attend all appointments and follow-ups.

Who is eligible for the scheme?
To qualify for the FluCamp Referral Code Scheme, you must have successfully completed a first screening at one of our facilities.
However, to receive a referral payment, the following conditions must also be met:
- The referred volunteer must complete a FluCamp clinical trial in full, including attending all appointments and follow-ups.
- The referred volunteer must complete a trial within 12 months of registering with FluCamp.
- The referred volunteer must enter the Referral Code provided by the Referrer when registering for FluCamp. This can be added to the registration form at sign-up or provided verbally over the phone. All codes must be registered before attending and completing the first screening appointment.
- Referrers cannot refer themselves.
- If a Referrer exercises their rights under applicable data protection laws (including the UK General Data Protection Regulation) to have their personal data deleted from FluCamp systems, they will no longer be eligible for any future referral payments.
When will I get a referral code?
Once you have successfully completed a first screening at one of our facilities you will receive an email explaining the referral scheme as well as your referral code you can use to refer new potential volunteers to FluCamp.
How much will I get if I refer a friend?
If a referred volunteer completes a FluCamp clinical trial, you will be eligible to receive a referral fee of £250. Payment is subject to a set of eligibility criteria being met.
How many times can a referral code be used?
There is no limit to the number of people you can refer. However, only one Referral Payment shall be made per referred volunteer, irrespective of how many clinical trials that same referred volunteer completes with FluCamp in the future.

You can take part multiple times! You can do a trial with us every 3 months*. If you’ve taken part previously, and completed quarantine over three months ago you can re-apply via email at [email protected]. *Please note this is dependent on trial availability and participant eligibility.

We take great care in matching volunteers to an appropriate study. Once you’ve been invited to join FluCamp we’ll give you a detailed explanation of the trial we’ve allocated you to and then it’s up to you to decide whether to take part. Your choice does not impact on whether you would be eligible to take part in any future studies. FluCamp has a very strict health screening process to ensure that we only accept the lowest risk volunteers. As part of our volunteering process, we will check your medical history, and do some current blood, urine and ECG tests to establish your suitability. This allows us to make sure we are only recruiting volunteers who are healthy.

You can register with us at anytime! Before booking your first screening appointment we would recommend that you have good availabillity three months following this as this tends to be when the trial will take place. We know there may be some times in the year when volunteers have other commitments that may clash with FluCamp dates. If you can give us as much notice as possible, we’ll try our best to schedule visits and studies for times that you are available.
