Biography
Sohail is a Pharmacologist with over 25 years experience within the life science and healthcare industry. His previous experience has been in leading regional medical information functions supporting healthcare professionals with accessing information to support prescribing decisions, including the launch of the first live chat service for the industry. Prior to joining hVIVO in 2022, he worked as the Head, Global Consumer relations for the UK’s largest pharmaceutical company, leading the transformation of engagement for HCP and consumer products. Delivering a go-live of the system, process and resource across 64 countries within 12 months, servicing upwards of 2 million engagements by 300+ contact centre agents.

His role at hVIVO as the Senior Director of participant recruitment has been to lead the transformation of the recruitment function and drive the shift towards a standalone recruitment as a service model. With an average number of visits to the application website of over 1.5 million per month, and over 100,000 applications annually, he manages a team of 40 across marketing, operations and contact centre agents to enable a best in class engagement service for volunteers from initial application through to attendance at screenings.
